keynote talks

My keynote talks are created to make a powerful impact on any audience working within safeguarding, policing, education, health or frontline support. When I speak, I bring the lived experience of trauma into the room with honesty, clarity and purpose. My story is not shared for shock — it is shared to reveal the emotional, behavioural and psychological reality that victims live with, and the places where professionals can make a life-changing difference.

Growing up inside the systems designed to protect children has given me a perspective few people can offer. I use my voice now to help professionals understand the depth of silence, fear, confusion and survival instincts that shape a child's behaviour. My keynote talks help audiences see beyond surface behaviour and into the internal world that trauma creates. This insight is vital for anyone responsible for safeguarding others.

My keynotes are designed for conferences, police roadshows, multi-agency training events, inset days, safeguarding partnerships, youth services and educational events across the UK. Each talk is tailored to your audience, your setting and your learning aims. Whether your team is highly experienced or newly trained, I adapt my delivery to ensure the message connects deeply and appropriately.

keynote talks

During a keynote, I guide the audience through themes such as why victims don’t disclose, how early trauma shapes adulthood, what fear looks like in children, how behaviour communicates distress, how systems fail, and what trauma-informed practice truly means in everyday professional work. These talks leave people emotionally grounded, professionally strengthened and often more motivated to improve their practice.

A keynote is not just a speech — it is a shift. Attendees frequently describe it as the moment they finally understood trauma properly for the first time. My aim is always to make sure that after hearing me speak, no professional ever sees a vulnerable young person the same way again.
